Hi, I’m Frog Mom a.k.a Laure Latham. The “Frog” in Frog Mom comes from my being French but also from my love for nature. I have two daughters born in 2003 and 2005 and I’ve taken them on outdoors adventures since they were babies.

Regarding Lochan a’ Mhuilinn and the picture of the boy in the boat.
What are the rights to walk up there? Are their paths? leading to Lochan a’ Mhuilinn or do you have to make your own way? If so how legal is it?
If you could answer any of these I’de be terrifically grateful.
Thank you,
Dominic Holden, from ‘ Midlands.
Hi Dominic, you can contact the owners of Scalpay ((email and phone on home page here http://www.isleofscalpay.com/) to ask walking permission. I know they’re open to it and the place is wonderful. Happy trails!
