(stoned)

sugar

lemon
(juiced)

almonds
(slivered)
Instructions
Combine fruit, sugar and lemon juice in a deep-bottomed pan
Place small plate in freezer.
Bring to slow boil over low heat.
Simmer during 10 to 15 minutes.
Check consistency of jam by putting jam drops on the frozen plate. When it slides slowly, the jam is done.
Fold almonds in the jam with a wooden spoon.
Remove from the heat and let cool before storing in jars.
